Días de Música
Our “Días de Música” program is specially designed for Pre-K children and takes place directly in daycares. This program introduces young kids to the world of music through engaging activities that combine music and movement. Children will learn basic rhythmic skills, introductory piano concepts, singing, and percussion techniques. It’s a fun and nurturing environment that lays the foundation for a lifelong love of music.
Through movement, singing, percussion, and piano exploration, children develop foundational musical skills in a fun, bilingual, and nurturing environment.
We are currently bringing this joyful program to the following Spanish immersion daycares:
• Casa Club Spanish Immersion
• Little Genius Spanish Immersion
• Mi Escuelita Spanish Immersion
• Seeds of Wonders Spanish Immersion
In each of these spaces, music becomes a bridge for joy, learning, and community.
Cost: $40 registration fee + $65/month
Little Mozarts
Once children graduate from Pre-K and move into Kindergarten, they transition into our “Little Mozarts” program. This program offers an immersive introduction to music through a chosen instrument, such as violin, cello, clarinet, flute, percussion, piano, or voice. Each child is guided based on their interests and talents, ensuring a personalized learning experience. The goal is to prepare them for our Beginners’ Orchestra, where they will refine their skills and progress to more advanced musical ensembles as part of El Sistema North Carolina programs.
Group lessons: $40 registration + $100/month
Private lessons (one-on-one): $40 registration + $140/month
Class times: After school, between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM
(families may choose their preferred time)
The location is in Chapel Hill area.
Joyful Rhythms
is a bilingual music and movement program designed for infants through Pre-K. Through joyful songs, guided movement, rhythm games, and hands-on musical experiences, children explore sound, language, coordination, and creativity, all while having fun! Each 30-minute session is full of discovery and connection. One of the children’s favorite moments is the “surprise instrument of the week”, a different musical instrument that every child gets to explore and play with during class. Led by a professional music educator, Joyful Rhythms brings the power of music into the early years, nurturing emotional expression, social connection, and whole-brain development.
